Overview
A top system integrator in the area is looking for a Controls Engineering Manager to lead project delivery and mentor a team of engineers across industrial automation projects. You'll play a key role in driving technical excellence, managing client relationships, and scaling engineering capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of controls engineers and designers
- Oversee project execution from design through commissioning
- Act as the senior technical point of contact for clients
- Review PLC/HMI/SCADA designs and ensure quality standards
- Support project planning, resource allocation, and timelines
- Drive continuous improvement across engineering processes
Qualifications
- 7-15+ years in controls/automation engineering
- Strong PLC experience (Allen-Bradley preferred)
- Proven leadership or project management experience
- Background in system integration or custom automation
- Experience with HMI/SCADA platforms (FactoryTalk, Ignition, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and client stakeholders
