Professional Land Surveyor- UT
We are working with a well-established, employee-focused engineering firm in Salt Lake City is looking to bring on an experienced Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to help lead and grow their surveying operations across a diverse project portfolio.
What you'll be doing:
- Overseeing a wide range of survey projects including boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, and construction staking
- Managing field crews and coordinating with office staff to ensure accurate and timely deliverables
- Reviewing plats, legal descriptions, and survey data for quality and compliance
- Working closely with civil engineering teams on land development, transportation, and infrastructure projects
- Serving as a client point of contact and contributing to project strategy and execution
What they're looking for:
- Active PLS license (Utah or ability to obtain)
- Strong background in boundary analysis, construction staking, and mapping
- Experience managing crews and mentoring junior staff
- Proficiency with survey software (Trimble Business Center, Civil 3D, etc.)
- Ability to balance technical work with client-facing responsibilities
