Project Manager- Overhead & Underground Transmission
Role Overview:
As the Transmission Line Project Manager, you'll oversee the full lifecycle of transmission projects-from concept to completion. You'll lead multidisciplinary teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure seamless coordination across engineering, procurement, and construction phases. Your leadership will be key to delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage cross-functional project teams
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and safety-first team culture
- Oversee all phases of EPC transmission line projects (69kV to 500kV)
- Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation plans
- Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and utility regulations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of experience managing transmission line projects in an EPC environment
- Proven experience leading large, diverse project teams in the utility or infrastructure sector
- Strong knowledge of transmission design, permitting, and construction practices
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project)
- PMP certification preferred; PE license is a plus
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
