BMS / SCADA Engineer - Data Center Projects (Remote, U.S.)
We're looking for a highly skilled BMS/SCADA Engineer to support mission‑critical data center projects across the U.S. This fully remote role is ideal for engineers who excel in complex automation environments and want to contribute to the performance and resilience of hyperscale and enterprise data centers.
About the Role
You'll design, configure, integrate, and commission advanced Building Management and SCADA systems that monitor and control power, cooling, and infrastructure systems in large‑scale data centers. You'll collaborate with project managers, mechanical/electrical engineers, and commissioning teams to ensure systems meet strict uptime, redundancy, and cybersecurity requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, program, and test BMS/SCADA control logic
* Integrate field devices, power and cooling systems, and monitoring platforms
* Support FAT/SAT testing and full lifecycle commissioning
* Troubleshoot system issues during deployment and operations
* Produce technical documentation, control drawings, and O&M materials
* Ensure compliance with data center standards and cybersecurity policies
What We're Looking For
* 3+ years' experience with BMS, SCADA, or industrial automation systems
* Strong understanding of data center mechanical & electrical systems (MEP)
* Knowledge of protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, SNMP
* Ability to interpret P&IDs, single‑line diagrams, and sequences of operation
* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote, cross‑functional environment
