Senior Electrical Engineer
About the Role:
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing and managing electrical systems for a wide range of building and infrastructure projects. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, code-compliant, and energy-efficient solutions that serve communities and support essential services.
Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical design efforts from concept through construction for buildings and infrastructure.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and construction administration support.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative, growth-oriented team culture.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
- 8+ years of experience in electrical design for buildings and infrastructure.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, NYS energy codes, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
