My client is seeking a Senior Highway Engineer at a 100% employee-owned firm that values innovation, collaboration, and professional growth. They are seeking an experienced Highway Project Engineer to join our growing Transportation Division.
Overview:
- Lead the development of transportation project plans for public infrastructure.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality design solutions.
- Manage and mentor junior staff while serving as a task lead.
- Assemble complete design packages or portions of larger projects.
- Conduct quality control reviews and ensure compliance with standards.
- Represent the firm at client meetings and industry events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- PE license required.
- 5-10 years of progressive roadway engineering experience.
- Experience with MassDOT or other New England DOTs required; municipal experience a plus.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley OpenRoads Designer.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with proposal writing, budgeting, and public presentations preferred.
- Multi-modal and Complete Streets design experience a plus.
