My client, a nationally recognised, 100% employee-owned consulting firm dedicated exclusively to water, is growing their Southwest Florida presence and looking for a Senior Project Manager to help lead the charge out of their Fort Myers office.
With Southwest Florida's rapid growth putting increasing pressure on water infrastructure, this is a rare opportunity to step into a senior seat with an established, technically respected firm and play a real role in shaping the regional practice.
About the Role
You'll lead the delivery of complex water, wastewater, and reuse projects for municipal and utility clients across Lee, Collier, Charlotte, and surrounding counties. This is a senior, client-facing role with genuine autonomy, ideal for someone who enjoys blending technical leadership, client management, and business development, while helping to mentor and grow the local team.
What You'll Be Doing
* Leading planning, design, and construction phase services for water and wastewater projects across Southwest Florida. * Managing scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and QA/QC on multi-disciplinary project teams. * Acting as the primary client liaison for key utility and municipal accounts in the region. * Driving business development by identifying opportunities, leading pursuits, and strengthening client relationships. * Mentoring project managers and junior engineers, and contributing to the growth of the Fort Myers team.
What They're Looking For
* Bachelor's (Master's preferred) in Civil or Environmental Engineering. * PE license in Florida (or ability to obtain via reciprocity). * 12+ years of consulting experience in water/wastewater, including a strong track record managing municipal projects. * Established relationships with utilities in Southwest Florida are highly valued. * Confident client communicator with a collaborative, mentorship-driven approach.
