Position: Structural Designer (Experienced)
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented designer who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about creating safe, efficient, and code-compliant structures. You'll work on a wide range of industrial projects-from cutting-edge new facilities to system upgrades-using the latest design tools and modeling technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed construction drawing sets using Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
- Create plans and technical details that align with architectural intent, building codes, and safety standards
- Implement and maintain BIM modeling protocols to support project coordination
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other disciplines to deliver integrated project solutions
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of learning and excellence
- Conduct site visits to gather field data and measurements for design validation
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field (required)
- Professional licensure (PE or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in structural design, preferably in industrial or commercial sectors
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
- Strong understanding of steel and concrete design principles
- Familiarity with building codes, OSHA standards, and industrial facility requirements
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits
