We are partnering with a well-respected civil engineering and land planning firm in the East Bay that is seeking a Project Engineer to join their Land Development team in Pleasanton. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level engineer to deepen their technical expertise, receive hands-on mentorship, and contribute to impactful projects across the region.
About the Role
As a Project Engineer, you'll be involved in the design and execution of residential, commercial, and mixed-use land development projects. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and project managers who are committed to providing meaningful mentorship and supporting your professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare site development plans including grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway design.
- Perform engineering calculations and assist in preparing technical reports and construction documents.
- Coordinate with local agencies and support permitting efforts.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure project success.
- Participate in client meetings and contribute to project planning and delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 3-7 years of experience in land development or site civil design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- EIT certification required; PE license or active pursuit preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
