We are partnering with a rapidly expanding renewable energy company specializing in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). As part of their growth in Japan, they are seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee all accounting and tax matters for their Japan operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting functions for the Japan entity, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Oversee tax filings, audits, and statutory reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements and monthly reports.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to maintain accurate financial records.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in accounting and tax compliance in Japan.
- SPC (Special Purpose Company) experience is essential.
- Strong knowledge of Japanese tax laws and accounting standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in renewable energy or infrastructure projects is a plus.
- Business-level Japanese and English proficiency.
