BMS Ignition/Allen Bradley Programmer
We're looking for an experienced Controls Programmer to join our growing team, supporting large-scale Data Center automation projects across the U.S. This is a fully remote position, offering up to $130,000 annually, with the opportunity to work on cutting-edge systems for some of the most mission-critical environments in the industry.
In this role, you'll be responsible for programming and configuring Building Management and Industrial Control Systems using Ignition SCADA and/or Allen-Bradley PLCs. You'll work closely with our engineering, commissioning, and project management teams to ensure that systems are delivered accurately, on time, and according to client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, program, and implement control logic using Ignition and/or Allen-Bradley PLC platforms
Develop HMI screens, dashboards, and alarms for real-time monitoring and control
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to define functional requirements
Troubleshoot and resolve software or logic-related issues during development and commissioning
Provide remote support during system startup, testing, and client handover
Maintain documentation and version control for project software and code
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in PLC or SCADA programming (Ignition and/or Allen-Bradley required)
Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, BACnet, OPC, Ethernet/IP)
Experience with mission-critical or large-scale automation systems, preferably in data centers
Self-motivated and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects remotely
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
