Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Engineer, program, and commission Tridium Niagara N4 BAS solutions
- Develop and modify control logic, graphics, alarms, trends, and databases
- Integrate third‑party systems via BACnet, Modbus, and IP protocols
- Support system architecture, controller selection, and network design
- Lead commissioning activities, functional testing, and client handover
- Troubleshoot complex BAS and HVAC control issues
- Review sequences of operation and ensure alignment with design intent
- Mentor junior technicians and provide technical guidance
- Collaborate with project managers, mechanical contractors, and clients
Required Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of Building Automation / Controls Engineering experience
- Strong hands‑on experience with Tridium Niagara (N4)
- Solid HVAC systems knowledge (AHUs, VAVs, chillers, boilers, plant rooms)
- Experience with system upgrades, retrofits, and expansions
- Ability to read and develop control drawings and sequences
- Comfortable working independently on complex projects
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Niagara N4 Certification
- Experience with Distech, Honeywell, Siemens, or JCI integrations
- Commissioning or lead‑engineer background
- Exposure to healthcare, higher education, or mission‑critical facilities
