Position Overview
We are seeking a highly driven C&I Solar Sales Manager to lead commercial and industrial solar sales in Taiwan. The ideal candidate must have direct experience in C&I solar (B2B) and a strong network within the Taiwanese commercial and industrial sectors.
This role focuses on identifying corporate clients, structuring tailored solar solutions, and closing projects that support the company's regional growth strategy. The position requires bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English to collaborate with APAC teams and multinational clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Sales Execution
- Identify, target, and acquire new C&I customers (factories, warehouses, logistics centers, commercial buildings).
- Lead the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closing.
- Build long‑term relationships with corporate clients, EPC partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Prepare proposals, financial models, system sizing discussions, and commercial negotiations.
2. Market Strategy & Pipeline Management
- Develop the C&I market strategy for Taiwan in alignment with APAC HQ.
- Manage and grow a strong sales pipeline, meeting quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes in Taiwan's solar industry.
3. Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, project development, finance, and legal teams across APAC.
- Coordinate site surveys, technical assessments, and proposal customization.
- Provide regular updates and reports to regional leadership.
4. Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Conduct presentations and commercial discussions with C‑level executives.
- Attend key industry events, conferences, and client meetings (in-person or virtual).
- Represent the company's brand and value proposition in a professional manner.
Requirements
Must‑Have Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of direct C&I solar sales experience in Taiwan (mandatory).
- Proven track record of closing commercial or industrial solar deals (CAPEX or PPA).
- Strong client network across C&I sectors (manufacturing, logistics, commercial real estate).
- Bilingual proficiency: Mandarin Chinese (native/advanced) + English (business level).
- Strong understanding of Taiwan renewable energy regulations, permitting, and utility processes.
- Ability to work independently within a flexible, international environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in multinational or APAC‑regional organizations.
- Understanding of financial modeling, PPA structures, and solar ROI/payback analysis.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, energy, or related fields.
