The Role

The team is seeking experienced Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to support a growing portfolio of land development and utility-related projects. The ideal candidate will have experience managing commercial, industrial, or utility-focused developments while maintaining strong client relationships and overseeing project delivery.

This role is particularly well suited to professionals with experience in private-sector development projects who enjoy balancing technical project execution with client interaction and business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage land development and infrastructure projects from planning through construction
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and consultants
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Support business development and project pursuits
  • Prepare and review engineering reports, plans, and technical documentation
  • Coordinate with permitting agencies and regulatory stakeholders
  • Mentor junior engineers and support team development
  • Contribute to strategic growth initiatives within the practice

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • Experience managing land development, utility, commercial, or industrial projects
  • Strong client-facing and relationship management skills
  • Experience overseeing project budgets, schedules, and team coordination
  • Knowledge of permitting and development processes
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
  • Experience working within consulting engineering environments

  • Commercial and industrial land development experience
  • Utility-related development projects
  • Experience supporting utility providers or power-related developments
  • Business development and client management experience
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple teams
