Client Service Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients, ensuring long-term engagement and satisfaction.
  • Plan, schedule, and execute engineering work for multiple medium- to large-scale projects of moderate to high complexity.
  • Serve as a primary technical authority, responsible for interpreting, organizing, and coordinating project assignments.
  • Define project objectives, scope, and requirements, and lead the development of innovative technical approaches.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
  • Supervise and mentor teams, including subordinate supervisors and technical staff.
  • Lead projects involving unique or complex challenges with significant organizational impact.
  • Develop internal standards and guidelines for engineering practices.
  • Make independent, authoritative decisions on technical matters.
  • Participate in proposal development, client interviews, and contract negotiations.
  • Oversee and coordinate work performed by subconsultants.
  • Represent the organization in professional associations through technical presentations, committee involvement, and leadership roles.
  • Local travel required for client meetings and site visits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • 15+ years of professional experience in water and wastewater infrastructure, including treatment, reuse, collection systems, transmission/distribution, pipeline rehabilitation, and pump stations.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality services within budget and schedule constraints.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to evaluate team performance and guide project execution.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in both design and construction phases of infrastructure projects.
