About the Role
Our client, a leading player in the engineering and infrastructure sector, is looking for an experienced Lead Designer to take charge of design development for major projects. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and leadership to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the conceptual and detailed design process for civil and structural projects.
- Skilled in CAD drawings and BIM models, BIM production, BIM software/tools.
- Ensure all design outputs meet regulatory requirements and project specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to align design objectives.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, promoting best practices.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables effectively.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in design leadership roles.
- Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with local codes and international standards.
