A well‑established heavy civil contractor is seeking a Superintendent with experience in earthwork, site development, and underground utilities (storm, water, sewer) for projects across Northern Virginia.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day‑to‑day field operations for earthwork, grading, and utility installation.
- Coordinate crews, equipment, and subcontractors to maintain productivity and quality.
- Read and interpret civil plans and ensure work meets specs and safety standards.
- Communicate with project managers, inspectors, and field teams.
- Troubleshoot field issues and keep work progressing on schedule.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of superintendent or field leadership experience in heavy civil construction.
- Strong background in earthwork, site development, and underground utilities.
