Electrical Designer/Engineer
The successful candidate will possess experience in electrical engineering as it relates to building systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and telecommunications systems. This role supports a variety of facility types across multiple market sectors.
Role Overview
In this position, the Electrical Engineer will provide consulting services throughout the full project lifecycle, from early feasibility studies and planning through construction documentation, close‑out, and facility operation. Responsibilities include contributing to the planning, design, and implementation of technically sound and efficient facilities.
The role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and owners, to deliver high‑quality electrical designs and technical guidance. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for producing electrical system designs, preparing technical reports and specifications, and maintaining a high standard of engineering quality. Projects may be supported both locally and regionally.
The ideal candidate is well organized, responsive, and able to manage multiple priorities while working effectively in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure preferred; Engineer‑in‑Training (E.I.T) required
- Five or more years of relevant engineering and consulting experience
- Demonstrated experience with electrical building systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with current versions of AutoCAD and Revit
