Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of geotechnical engineering services from concept to completion.
- Oversee the development of detailed reports, calculations, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure client satisfaction.
- Mentor and develop junior geotechnical staff.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and business development teams.
- Maintain strong communication with clients, project managers, and internal teams.
- Travel to project sites and client offices, including overnight travel as needed.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent.
- PE license in NJ, NY, PA, or IL-or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive geotechnical engineering experience.
- Proficiency in gINT, ALLPILE, GEO-SLOPE, GRLWEAP, LPILE, PLAXIS, SHAFT, SETTLE3D, and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with regional transportation agency standards (NJ, NY, PA, IL preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and navigate construction sites safely.
- Willingness to travel, including extended periods.
