About the Position
This is an opportunity for an experienced Activation Manager to lead and manage healthcare facility activation projects from planning through go-live. This role requires a strong mix of project management, logistics coordination, and client-facing leadership, ensuring that new or renovated healthcare facilities are fully operational and ready for Day 1.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead activation planning and execution across healthcare facility projects
- Develop and manage detailed activation schedules aligned with construction and project milestones
- Create and maintain activation playbooks, including governance structure, communication plans, and risk management frameworks
- Coordinate with clinical staff, facilities teams, contractors, vendors, and supply chain to ensure seamless project delivery
- Oversee FF&E delivery, logistics, and final deployment to ensure alignment with design and operational requirements
- Manage risk and issue tracking processes, ensuring timely resolution throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead activation meetings, stakeholder coordination sessions, and project updates across all phases
- Support building readiness activities, including site walk-downs and occupancy planning
- Coordinate equipment installation, testing, and commissioning in collaboration with vendors and clinical engineering teams
- Manage move planning, logistics, and execution for departments and equipment transitions
- Provide on-site oversight during critical phases including installation, delivery, and go-live
- Lead project closeout activities including post-occupancy reporting and decommissioning planning
Requirements
- Experience managing healthcare facility activation, transition, or capital project delivery
- Strong background in project management, logistics, or healthcare operations
- Experience working on hospital or healthcare facility projects
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders including clinical teams, contractors, and vendors
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
- Must be based in the Denver, Colorado area
- Willingness to be on-site during key project phases
