A well‑established heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee public works and highway infrastructure projects. This is a hybrid opportunity, with only 2 days in the office required, offering flexibility while supporting a strong pipeline of municipal and government work.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage public works and highway projects from preconstruction through completion
- Oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and procurement
- Coordinate closely with Superintendents and field teams
- Track costs, change orders, and project performance
- Ensure compliance with public sector contracts, plans, and specifications
- Interface with municipalities, inspectors, and project stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager, APM, or Superintendent in heavy civil construction
- Strong background in public works, highway, utilities, or infrastructure projects
- Experience working with municipal or government contracts
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
