Land Development Project Manager (Civil Site Design)

Location: Fort Myers, Florida
Type: Full-Time

The Opportunity

LVI Associates is working with a well-established, employee-owned engineering consultancy (400+ employees) that is actively expanding its presence in Florida. They are seeking a Land Development Project Manager to play a key role in the growth of their Fort Myers office.

This position offers a unique opportunity to combine technical delivery with client-facing responsibilities, supporting both project execution and business development as the office continues to scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage land development and site civil projects
  • Oversee and perform grading, drainage, and utility design using Civil 3D
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver plans, specifications, and project documentation
  • Attend client meetings, site visits, and field inspections
  • Support business development efforts and client relationship management
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the Florida office

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • 7+ years of experience in land development or site civil engineering
  • Strong expertise in grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility design
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (ICPR experience is a plus)
  • Experience working on residential and/or commercial development projects
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • PE license preferred or ability to obtain
