The Opportunity
LVI Associates is working with a well-established, employee-owned engineering consultancy (400+ employees) that is actively expanding its presence in Florida. They are seeking a Land Development Project Manager to play a key role in the growth of their Fort Myers office.
This position offers a unique opportunity to combine technical delivery with client-facing responsibilities, supporting both project execution and business development as the office continues to scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage land development and site civil projects
- Oversee and perform grading, drainage, and utility design using Civil 3D
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver plans, specifications, and project documentation
- Attend client meetings, site visits, and field inspections
- Support business development efforts and client relationship management
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Contribute to the growth and development of the Florida office
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 7+ years of experience in land development or site civil engineering
- Strong expertise in grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (ICPR experience is a plus)
- Experience working on residential and/or commercial development projects
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- PE license preferred or ability to obtain
