About the Role
An established engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Civil Site Development Engineer to join its growing team in Baltimore. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to a wide variety of land development projects while working alongside a collaborative group of engineers, planners, and design professionals.
The successful candidate will support projects from initial concept through construction and will play a key role in delivering innovative solutions for both public and private sector clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the planning, design, and execution of civil site development projects.
- Prepare engineering plans, technical reports, specifications, and permitting documents.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and internal project teams.
- Assist with project management activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and client communication.
- Support construction-phase services through site visits, design reviews, and technical guidance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in civil engineering or land development.
- Experience designing and delivering site development projects from concept through construction.
- Knowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility design.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or similar design software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- PE licence preferred or the ability to obtain licensure in the near future.
