Role Overview
Our client is seeking a Licensed Landscape Architect to join their team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will contribute to all phases of project development, including site analysis, conceptual and schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration. This role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, designers, and support staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with research, site analysis, conceptual design, and preparation of construction documents for diverse project types.
- Develop conceptual and schematic designs, produce detailed construction drawings, and support cost estimation efforts.
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Prepare graphic presentations and physical or digital study models.
- Conduct site observations during construction phases.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
- Support administrative and project-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
- Active professional license as a Landscape Architect.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity or interest in tools such as LandFX, Photoshop, SketchUp, Lumion, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and other visualization software.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Additional Information
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
- Physical requirements include prolonged computer work and occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
