Role Overview

We're seeking a seasoned Architect to lead the coordination and execution of complex architectural projects from concept through construction. This role requires a strong technical foundation, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and client relationships with confidence and clarity.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all phases of project coordination, including seamless collaboration with consultants across disciplines (structural, MEP, lighting, AV, acoustics, accessibility, envelope, life safety, etc.).
  • Lead the resolution of intricate design and technical challenges, delivering innovative and buildable solutions.
  • Direct the development of construction documents, specifications, and administration processes to ensure design integrity and technical excellence.
  • Ensure the production and delivery of high-quality documentation that aligns with the project's design vision.
  • Review and process submittals, substitution requests, and RFIs during the construction phase.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with permitting and building officials throughout the approval and construction process.
  • Manage client expectations, facilitate clear team communication, and oversee consultant coordination to maintain project alignment and momentum.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field (required); Master's degree preferred.
  • Licensed Architect with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience.
  • Proven experience in Construction Administration and managing diverse project types.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, permitting processes, materials, specifications, and construction methodologies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in preparing construction documents and conducting field observations.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other 3D modeling tools.
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • LEED accreditation is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at various stages of development with agility and focus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for building strong client relationships.
