What You'll Do (and Learn)
As a Project Engineer, you'll enter a structured pathway designed to move you from project engineer → assistant project manager → full project manager.
You'll start by mastering core fundamentals:
- Design computations & engineering drawings
- Submittals, pricing, budgeting, pre‑construction support
- Vendor management & construction coordination
- Temporary works design (SOE, shoring, ramps, platforms, supports)
- Exposure to both design and build execution not just paper engineering
You'll rapidly gain field + office experience such as:
- Working alongside experienced PEs who will sign off on your work
- Learning how to use the right technical language for review boards
- Understanding cost evaluation and feasibility early in a project lifecycle
- Collaborating constantly with PMs, senior engineers, and superintendents
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- EIT strongly preferred (or on active path to obtain)
- Some experience or exposure to:
- Excavation
- Deep foundations
- Geotechnical design or consulting
- Temporary works engineering
- Strong interest in BOTH design + field execution
