Project Manager - Alternative Delivery
A top-rated ENR Heavy Civil Contractor with over $500M in backlog is currently seeking a Project Manager with extensive Heavy Civil experience, specifically involved in Alternative Delivery Projects such as Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, CM/GC, etc.
Salary Range: $140,000 - $160,000 (Depending on experience)
Summary:
As the Project Manager, you will plan, develop, coordinate, and manage onsite construction engineering activities for Heavy Civil/DOT projects.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee budgets and adjusted job costing; prepare and organize monthly project cost reports for review with Area and Division Managers.
- Plan, organize, and staff key field positions through regional department heads.
- Monitor and control construction through the administrative direction of Superintendents, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Maintain active liaison with customers, joint-venture partners, subcontractors, and others to facilitate construction activities.
- Identify potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
- Execute other assignments as directed by your supervisor.
- Leverage experience with Alternative Delivery projects to enhance project execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of heavy civil large project experience is preferred, with at least 5 years in Large Construction Project Management.
- In-depth knowledge of construction equipment, techniques, drawings & specifications, building materials, and industry standards.
- Strong grasp of technology and construction software is essential.
- Proven ability to assume responsibility and meet deadlines.
