Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer / Project Manager to join our Phoenix-area team. Role Overview
In this position, you will support both technical and managerial functions across a variety of civil engineering projects. You'll contribute to planning, design, and project delivery efforts while also coordinating with internal teams and external clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, managing, and overseeing construction‑related projects in areas such as water/wastewater systems, land development, and transportation.
- Developing project budgets, cost estimates, staffing requirements, and materials assessments.
- Preparing technical studies, analyses, and written reports.
- Leading project teams and providing direction to engineers, E.I.T.s, drafters, and field personnel.
- Working independently or collaborating within larger multidisciplinary teams.
- Applying sound engineering judgment and creative problem‑solving to diverse challenges.
- Supporting business development efforts, including proposal preparation and client outreach.
- Assisting with statements of qualifications and proposal submissions for new opportunities.

What You Bring
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Proficiency with CAD software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- 5-10 years of experience in water/wastewater, roadway, or drainage projects
Preferred:
- Experience managing municipal projects
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience within engineering teams
