Job Description
We are seeking a Restoration Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will have a strong background in structural engineering, with a passion for repair and restoration. You will have a focus on the investigation, evaluation and rehabilitation of existing structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct structural evaluations and develop restoration plans.
- Travel to client project sites to carry out investigations.
- Prepare and issue inspection reports following site evaluations.
- Review calculations, structural drawings, and construction documents and related questions as required.
- Oversee construction and restoration projects, ensuring compliance with Florida's engineering regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Structural/Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- 4+ years experience in structural restoration and rehabilitation.
- Strong knowledge of Florida's building codes and climate resilience strategies.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
