Position Overview
Are you ready to contribute your talents to a variety of public infrastructure projects that positively impact communities across the country? This role supports roadway and utility construction efforts by ensuring work is completed accurately, safely, and in compliance with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor contractor activities and construction processes to verify work meets contract documents.
- Assist the Construction Manager in coordinating all on‑site construction activities.
- Perform daily inspections of roadway and underground utility construction.
- Maintain and submit daily inspection reports.
- Provide support with additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience as a foreman, tradesperson, contractor, or inspector on DOT or municipal roadway/utility projects.
- Minimum 3+ years of construction inspection experience in municipal or DOT roadway and underground utility work.
- Prior experience observing contractor performance and ensuring compliance with contract specifications.
- Preferred: basic computer proficiency and some survey experience.
- Must have applicable U.S.-based work experience.
