Office Administration
- Review scope of work and services for incoming projects
- Fulfill survey work requests and oversee project workflow
- Conduct calculation checks and ensure accuracy of deliverables
Training & Team Building
- Establish and lead project teams
- Manage, mentor, and evaluate staff
- Provide on‑the‑job coaching and technical training
Professional Development
- Participate in ongoing technical and managerial training
- Maintain active involvement in professional organizations
Field Assistance
- Conduct site visits as needed
- Apply working knowledge of field coding and line work
- Assist field crews and provide guidance in the field when necessary
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and current RPLS license required
- 5+ years of experience drafting surveys, performing boundary analysis, preparing plats, legal descriptions, and data processing
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate project schedules
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and knowledge of surveying and drafting principles
- Familiarity with current governmental requirements for surveying documents
- Previous experience as a Survey Technician or Party Chief is a plus
