About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead business development efforts in the Building Automation sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, strong technical understanding of building automation systems, and exposure to Tridium Niagara Framework. This role focuses on driving revenue growth through strategic client engagement and solution selling.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share in building automation solutions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with contractors, consultants, and end-users.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure accurate scope and pricing.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales within building automation, HVAC controls, or related industries.
- Exposure to Tridium Niagara Framework and familiarity with BAS platforms.
- Strong understanding of building automation systems, energy management, and integration.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Distech, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, or similar BAS systems.
- Knowledge of networking protocols (BACnet, Modbus, IP).
- Familiarity with CRM tools and structured sales processes
