Overview

The South-East Asia and North-East Asia regions are experiencing exceptionally strong order growth, with significantly increasing demand. This role requires an experienced leader with a clear strategic mindset and a strong focus on expanding the customer base across the Oil & Gas, Chemical, and Power sectors in a high‑priority global region. The ideal candidate will work closely with customers on site, building strong relationships across this vertical market. A proactive, growth‑driven approach is crucial to achieving ambitious targets, supported by disciplined business planning and reporting.

As the Vertical Market Leader, the individual will carry substantial responsibility, ensuring customers have access to application engineering experts across the organization. The role involves both acquiring new customers and nurturing relationships with existing ones, with a strong emphasis on field sales and acting as the main representative to customers. This position requires a "hunter" mindset.

Location: Taipei, Taiwan

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver the sales budget for the Oil & Gas, Chemical, and Power markets, driving order intake and executing effective strategic plans.
  • Partner with Solution Support teams and Marketing to develop branding and market positioning strategies that highlight the company's strengths as a preferred cooling solutions provider.
  • Track competitive activity and help shape appropriate response strategies.
  • Provide insights on market pricing trends.
  • Drive the use of standardized Marketing & Sales tools and processes, including CRM systems and account planning.
  • Promote a strong culture of compliance and integrity throughout all activities.
  • Understand customers' business drivers and their broader environment to identify opportunities for the company.

Candidate Profile

  • At least 10 years of experience in a similar technical sales role within the Oil & Gas, Chemical, or Power sectors, with a proven sales record.
  • Comfortable working within a matrix organization.
  • Capable of managing both direct and indirect channels across greenfield and brownfield markets.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to contribute to building and developing a sales organization.
  • Team‑oriented, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and propose practical solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of the Oil & Gas, Chemical, and Power segments; a well‑established network in major O&G, petrochemical, or power companies is a strong advantage.
  • Experience in the heat exchange industry is a significant plus.
