A national civil engineering firm is seeking a Bridge Engineer to join their growing team in Seattle. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to work on a wide range of bridge and transportation infrastructure projects across the Pacific Northwest and New Mexico. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural analysis, design, and detailing of bridges and related structures for DOT and municipal clients.
- Support project delivery from concept through construction, including preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across offices to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
- Conduct site visits and inspections as needed to support design and construction efforts.
- Assist in mentoring junior engineers and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of bridge design and engineering experience.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, CSiBridge, LARSA, or similar).
- Experience with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
