Role Overview:
A global project management consultancy (PMC) firm is looking for Senior Cost Manager (MEP, Airport) and Cost Manager (Data Center) in Singapore. The role will be leading the cost management for major construction projects, ensuring cost control, quality, and compliance. Manage project teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and oversee financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate project teams; support onboarding and recruitment
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers
- Analyze project requirements and develop cost control/reporting structures
- Manage estimating, cost planning, and monthly cost reports
- Oversee value engineering, life cycle costing, and risk management
- Handle commercial negotiations, contract administration, and invoicing
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction, Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years' experience in cost management or construction projects
- Strong communication, leadership, and client management skills
- Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., Cost-X)
- Business-level English
