A nationally respected consulting firm is seeking a Senior Cultural Resources Project Manager to lead archaeological investigations and cultural resource management across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure and environmental projects. This is a high-impact, client-facing role with significant autonomy and leadership opportunity.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as Principal Investigator for surveys, excavations, and construction monitoring.
- Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and delivery.
- Coordinate with clients, agencies, and internal teams to ensure compliance and quality.
- Author technical reports and contribute to proposals and strategic planning.
- Mentor junior staff and support professional development.
- Expand market reach and identify new project opportunities.
What You Bring:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited program required.
- Master's or PhD in archaeology, anthropology, or related field.
- Meets Secretary of the Interior standards for archaeology.
- 6+ years of experience in field investigations, artifact analysis, and compliance.
- Familiarity with Midwest states (MN, ND, SD, WI) and federal permitting.
- Strong writing, leadership, and GPS/data collection skills.
- Ability to work in remote field conditions and dynamic environments.
- Registered Professional Archaeologist (preferred).
- Prior consulting and federal agency experience (preferred).
