Senior DeltaV Batch Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our Project Execution Team, playing a key role in the design, development, and deployment of automation systems for capital projects. This position involves leading technical efforts and delivering high-quality automation solutions using platforms such as DeltaV, AMS, and other process control technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a lead technical contributor on automation projects, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Collaborate closely with project and account managers to align technical execution with client expectations.
  • Design and implement process control strategies tailored to continuous manufacturing environments.
  • Configure and deploy control systems, primarily using DeltaV DCS.
  • Develop technical documentation, including design specifications and test protocols.
  • Support Factory and Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT) and lead commissioning/start-up activities.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues related to control systems.
  • Contribute to internal standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Assist in proposal development, including estimating configuration efforts and drafting technical content.
  • Create custom reports for operations and maintenance teams.
  • Utilize simulation tools (e.g., MiMic) for process modeling and testing.
  • Work independently at client sites as needed.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in automation or process control.
  • Hands-on experience with DeltaV control systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with a valid driver's license.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with legacy control systems or PLCs.
  • Experience in regulated or validated environments.
  • Background in manufacturing or industrial operations.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server environments and basic network troubleshooting.
