Senior Noise Specialist/Project Manager
What You'll Do
- Conduct field noise measurements and analyze data using industry-standard equipment.
- Perform noise modeling for traffic, construction, and stationary sources using tools like FHWA TNM, RCNM, CadnaA, and SoundPLAN.
- Prepare technical reports and impact assessments for CEQA/NEPA documentation.
- Interpret state and local noise regulations, recommend mitigation strategies, and support permitting processes.
- Collaborate with engineers, planners, and agencies to deliver integrated solutions.
- Contribute to proposals and client presentations to support business growth.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Acoustics, Environmental Engineering, Physics, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Experience:
- Mid-level: 2-5 years in environmental noise analysis.
- Senior: 8+ years with leadership experience.
- Proficiency in noise modeling software and strong knowledge of CEQA/NEPA regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
