The Role
You will lead civil/site design projects, manage client relationships, and mentor junior staff while driving business development initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to influence strategic growth and become a shareholder in the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage civil engineering projects from concept through design and permitting.
- Oversee technical and financial aspects of projects, ensuring quality and profitability.
- Serve as the primary client contact, building strong relationships and identifying new opportunities.
- Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering technical excellence and leadership skills.
- Coordinate multi-discipline projects involving survey, geotechnical, environmental, and construction services.
- Prepare proposals, lead client presentations, and represent the firm at industry events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license in Texas required.
- 10+ years of civil engineering experience, with a focus on land development.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software.
- Strong leadership, communication, and business development skills.
