Senior Technology Consultant
Position Summary
This senior-level role focuses on leading the design, execution, and management of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) projects. Key responsibilities include building strong client relationships, mentoring team members, and supporting organizational growth and innovation. Candidates should bring a growth mindset and at least ten years of relevant industry experience.
Essential Job Functions
- Lead project execution for all phases of ICT systems design.
- Provide consulting services on technology systems for both new construction and renovation projects.
- Mentor team members in security, telecommunications, and audiovisual system design through presentations, technical guidance, and project collaboration.
- Develop technical specifications (e.g., Division 27 and Division 28), construction documents, and basis‑of‑design reports.
- Support construction administration activities, including responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals.
- Perform thorough quality control reviews, promote high quality assurance standards, and contribute to improving internal design standards and documentation practices.
- Foster an environment that encourages professional growth, collaboration, and innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability in project delivery and standards.
- Excellent technical expertise, communication skills, and a demonstrated track record in a relevant technology design discipline.
- Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification.
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry certifications such as OSP, DCDC, PSP, CTS, PMP, PE, or other similar credentials.
