The company is seeking a Site Safety Manager to support major commercial construction projects across the Miami or Fort Lauderdale market. This role is responsible for leading all on-site safety efforts, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company standards, and fostering a proactive, safety-first culture across complex, fast-paced job sites for a leading south-east GC.

Key responsibilities of the Site Safety Manager include:

  • Lead, implement, and enforce site-specific safety plans in alignment with the company's policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Conduct daily site safety walks, inspections, and hazard assessments across active construction areas.
  • Manage and deliver new-hire orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training for site personnel and subcontractors.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for OSHA inspections, audits, and regulatory interactions.
  • Partner closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field leadership to proactively identify and mitigate risk.

Key requirements of the Site Safety Manager include:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Safety, Occupational Health, or a related safety and health field.
  • 2-6 years of construction safety experience with a General Contractor, preferably on large-scale commercial or high-rise projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage field teams using tact and diplomacy.
  • First Aid / CPR Instructor certification strongly desired.
