Senior Architect | Hospitality Projects

We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect to lead the design and technical execution of complex hospitality projects, including hotels, casinos, and mixed‑use destinations. This role involves close collaboration with project leadership, significant client-facing responsibility, and oversight of multidisciplinary teams throughout all phases of design and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of architectural concepts, planning strategies, and creative design solutions tailored to hospitality environments.
  • Oversee the production of design drawings, technical details, and project documentation from concept through construction.
  • Partner closely with the Project Manager to coordinate schedules, staffing, deliverables, and overall workflow for the architectural team.
  • Present design and technical solutions directly to clients, consultants, and project stakeholders, both in-person and virtually.
  • Guide and mentor junior architects and technicians, ensuring clarity of tasks and quality of work.
  • Coordinate architectural work with structural, mechanical, electrical, and specialty consultants, ensuring integrated and accurate documentation.
  • Conduct code research, prepare code analyses, and identify potential conflicts between design intent and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in construction administration, including review of shop drawings, RFIs, and field conditions.
  • Support project pursuits by contributing technical expertise, proposal input, and presentation materials.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in architectural practice, with significant exposure to hospitality, hotel, or gaming projects.
  • Architectural Registration or NCARB Certification is heavily preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently navigate complex architectural challenges and lead project documentation efforts.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and related digital production tools; familiarity with 3D rendering software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience coordinating with internal teams, consultants, and clients.
  • Thorough understanding of building codes, life safety regulations, and local jurisdictional processes.
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively while working on multiple concurrent assignments.
