Solar Superintendent
The Position
Operational Planning & Management
- Work in a collaborative partnership with the Project Manager, sharing mutual accountability
- Lead field teams including tradespeople, foremen, and subcontractors
- Assist in resolving construction challenges such as productivity issues and work interface conflicts
- Review construction plans and drawings
- Order, schedule, and coordinate material deliveries
- Coordinate and monitor subcontractors whose work impacts project execution
- Foster a positive work environment through professional communication with clients, subcontractors, coworkers, and management
- Mentor Foremen and Project Engineers to support individual and organizational growth
- Accountable to Foreman/Lead Foreman for:
- Safety
- Planning and communication
- Personnel management
- Materials, tools, and equipment
- Jobsite environment

- Cost, productivity, and quality management
- Overall responsibility for labor and equipment costs
- Assist with job procurement, estimating, and pre‑construction planning
- Ensure work quality meets both company and client expectations
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Minimum of:
- 10 years of Foreman experience, or
- 5 years of Superintendent or Construction Manager experience
- Technical or secondary education in a related field preferred
- Electrical construction experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including facilitation, diplomacy, and influence
- Solid understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, and standards, and how they impact project execution
