Position: Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager
Locations: Baton Rouge, LA
Our client is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to lead and deliver projects in water, wastewater, and groundwater across the Gulf region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee planning, design, construction, and project management for water resources and municipal utility infrastructure, including drinking water systems, wastewater facilities, and water treatment projects.
- Lead design efforts for water distribution, storage, treatment, reuse systems, pump stations, and hydraulic modeling.
- Prepare master plans, grant documentation, and technical reports.
- Integrate smart water systems, automation, and advanced technologies into designs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and utilize tools like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
- Support business development, client relationships, and proposal preparation.
- Mentor junior staff and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Required Qualifications:
- BS in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license (Illinois preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months).
- Strong regional network and technical expertise in water/wastewater systems.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and technical writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MS or PhD in related engineering discipline.
- Active involvement in professional organizations
