Role Summary
As an Environmental Scienist, you will play a key role in guiding projects through complex environmental regulations, ensuring compliance and timely approvals. You'll work with a multidisciplinary team serving clients in energy, utilities, and infrastructure, helping them achieve project goals while protecting natural resources.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate environmental permitting activities with federal, state, and local agencies.
- Prepare and submit permit applications and supporting documentation.
- Conduct field surveys and review technical reports for compliance.
- Advise clients and internal teams on permitting strategies and regulatory requirements.
- Track project timelines and budgets to ensure deliverables are met.
- Maintain adherence to safety and environmental standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental permitting or compliance.
- Strong knowledge of permitting regulations for wetlands, endangered species, stormwater, and cultural resources.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 10%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Consulting experience with energy or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with NEPA and state-level environmental review processes.
- Experience with renewable energy permitting.
