2) Responsibilities
- Design structural systems and foundations for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) facilities and other critical energy infrastructure.
- Perform structural analysis, calculations, and prepare drawings and specifications in compliance with industry standards.
- Lead production teams, supervise engineers and technicians, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Support EPC projects through procurement assistance, construction-phase engineering, and quality control reviews.
- Manage project tasks including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Provide technical guidance, maintain design standards, and champion continuous improvement initiatives.
3) Requirements
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited program.
- Minimum 5 years of structural engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of steel and concrete design and applicable codes.
- Ability to lead teams and collaborate across disciplines.
Preferred:
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Proficiency with 3D structural analysis/design software (e.g., RISA-3D, STAADPro).
- Experience in utility, energy, or renewable projects.
- Strong communication skills for internal and external collaboration.
