Superintendent
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations for a specialist geotechnical contractor focused on deep foundations. This is a senior site leadership role overseeing Augercast (ACIP) and Drilled Shaft projects across Texas, working closely with project managers, engineers, and in‑house crews.
The ideal candidate is a hands‑on construction leader with a strong understanding of deep foundation methods, safety‑driven site management, and the ability to coordinate multiple crews, schedules, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day field operations on Augercast and Drilled Shaft projects
- Lead and manage superintendents, foremen, equipment operators, and craft labor
- Coordinate construction sequencing, logistics, and schedules to meet project milestones
- Ensure strict compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Work closely with Project Managers on planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Liaise with clients, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors on site
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports
- Monitor productivity and implement improvements to drive efficiency
- Ensure accurate daily reporting of work progress, materials, and equipment
- Support troubleshooting of technical or site‑related challenges
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a Superintendent or Senior Field Leader within deep foundations
- Strong background in Augercast (ACIP) and Drilled Shaft construction
- Experience working on transportation, commercial, industrial, or energy projects
- Solid understanding of Texas soils and geotechnical conditions preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple active sites across Texas
- High commitment to safety and quality‑driven construction
- Willingness to travel within Texas as projects require
