Key Responsibilities
Beyond project and task management, marketing, and business development, typical responsibilities include:
- Leading client meetings and maintaining long-term partnerships
- Conducting site assessments
- Preparing plans and construction documents
- CAD, GIS, and managing production staff
- Overseeing engineering modeling
- Mentoring junior engineers and technical staff
- Supporting growth of water resources service lines
Technical Focus Areas
This team has deep expertise across:
- Stormwater management
- Floodplain management
- Stream restoration & stabilization
- Dam safety
- Infrastructure stabilization
- Coastal and riverine systems (experience preferred, not required)
A strong understanding of Mid‑Atlantic regulatory frameworks and modern design standards is highly valued.
Qualifications
Licenses, Certifications & Accreditations
- Professional Engineer (PE) in at least one U.S. state preferred but not required
- Formal training or experience in CAD and/or GIS preferred
- Coastal engineering or stream restoration experience/training is a plus
Software Skills
Experience with any of the following is a bonus:
- HEC‑RAS, HEC‑HMS, HEC‑FDA
- SWMM, MIKE, Bentley tools
- Cost estimating and construction management software
- Standard tools for word processing, email, and information management
