About the Opportunity
We're partnering with a growing civil engineering firm that is expanding its water resources and stormwater team. They're looking for a Design or Project Engineer (1-10 years of experience) who's excited to work on meaningful infrastructure and watershed projects across Southern California.
This role offers a strong mix of technical design, modeling, and real-world project exposure, with the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers on impactful stormwater, flood control, and water quality initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing
In this role, you'll contribute to a variety of water resources projects, including:
- Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling (1D and 2D)
- Stormwater and drainage system design
- Flood control and mitigation studies
- Watershed and basin planning
- Water quality and BMP design
- Channel, river, and urban drainage analysis
- Floodplain mapping and technical studies
- Supporting integrated water resource planning efforts
You'll be involved in projects from early analysis through design and documentation, with opportunities to grow into greater responsibility over time.
What They're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering field
- 1-10 years of experience in civil or water resources engineering
- EIT required; PE preferred for more senior candidates
- Experience or exposure to hydrology/hydraulic modeling tools
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D (or similar)
- Familiarity with California water/stormwater regulations is a plus
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team

Compensation
💰 Competitive salary ranging from $70,000 - $130,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
