Key Responsibilities
- Apply advanced technical knowledge to resolve complex engineering challenges while adhering to codes and standards
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, project managers, and contractors to deliver integrated solutions
- Lead project teams and produce complete electrical design packages for clients in government, commercial, industrial, and academic sectors
- Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance
- Support construction and commissioning phases, ensuring quality and compliance
- Perform system analyses including load flow, short circuit, and voltage drop calculations
Qualifications
- 6-10 years of professional experience in electrical engineering
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline from an accredited program
- Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within three months
- Hands-on experience with building systems design (power distribution, lighting controls, grounding, lightning protection, emergency power systems)
- Familiarity with modeling tools (ETAP, SKM, AGI) and sustainable design principles
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and capable of obtaining security clearance
